In September 2017 I attended Distributed: Health in
Nashville, the flagship conference on blockchain in healthcare. These are my notes.
The event
- When: September 25–26, 2017 (the second annual edition)
- Where: Schermerhorn Symphony Center, downtown Nashville
- Host: BTC Inc / BTC Media — billed as the first and largest conference for
blockchain advancement in healthcare
- Featured speakers: healthcare leaders from Aetna, the CDC, and the Altarum
Institute, including:
- Dr. Harold Paz — Executive VP & Chief Medical Officer, Aetna
- Jim Nasr — Chief Software Architect, CDC (Center for Surveillance,
